I spent most of the week trying 2 get in contact with Joy hoping 2 verify this event....by text, cell AND Facebook, but no luck.

I heard a rumor that it turned in2 a private "House" party, but because she wouldn't respond 2 ANY of my attempts at contact, I decided not 2 put 4th the effort of going.

well i'm fucking pissed at her now. idk why her cell was off and if this was true she didn't tell me. i have been in touch with her b4. idk what the fuck gives.

i hope i don't run into her a one of these 2 prince shows...

i'm truly sorry that this happend 2 u so i gues i feel i should tell u something that joy had told me over the phone about hmmm a week and half ago:

during our conversation joy had told me about this event which i then told her i had heard about but i don't have a facebook page. PMB i only found out about this event from when the org 6 was walking around and y'all told me. joy told me that she had 2 cancel this event due to the funds the clubs was asking for. from other people i have talked 2 that have a facebook page kept telling me that this event was still being posted on joy's page. if the event was indeed canceld then she should have taken full repsonsibility in posting that it was canceled.

i can also veryify by poorgoo's comments that sometimes contacting joy results in her not answering her phone due 2 other circumstances.

again i'm sorry this happend 2 u but this is also what happens when trying 2 gather the tri state prince crowds 2 a event.

I was going to go but totally forgot about it and remembered after I saw your post on Facebook. Honestly, I don't blame u for being mad because it was HER responsibilty to at least take the Facebook announcement down. It was indeed still posted the day before the event was supposed to take place. As much as she's on Facebook, I don't know why she didn't just erase the event or say it was cancelled. I posted our 12/18 Pre Show Meet Up on Facebook and there is an option to cancel it. My boss had made an announcement to and had to cancel it so it erased it. I thought there was going to be a cover charge at the door to take care of the club rental expense but I guess not. Sorry, Mookie that you had to go all the way to Brooklyn to be disappointed. Next time, come to Long Island and we can have a Prince and Angelina Jolie Night.

but green hornet just came out and i wanna see the rite and blue valentine.

No, I never got to see the Tourist either...should be out soon hopefully. I wish I could find a movie theater here with $5.75 movies even on special days they are still like $7 or $8 I think. I want to see the Green Hornet too...the other two I haven't heard of but I also haven't turned my TV on in almost 2 weeks for some strange reason. I want to see the Social Network too and Fighter sounds interesting. MOVIE NIGHT!!!!

the rite is anthony hopkins. a true story about exorcism. yeah airing the trailer NONSTOP. blue valentine has heath ledgers ex michelle williams in it. weird concept. they filmed the actors in a house and really had em live in it...i was watching the award shows.it's up for awards
