Prince Party in Paris 30 oct 2010FAN MEETING:

Prince IS NOT expected !!

Venue : Next One, Metro St Germain des Prés : 15 rue Bernard Palissy 75006 Paris

DJ Unique from UK comes to Paris to play from 9pm until 5 in the morning, on a saturday night.

Warning : freaks expected.

The capacity of the hall is 120 people, but admissions are limited to 100 max.

Admission is 10 €.

The venue owns a Plasma screen, good sound and light system.

We expect fans travelling from all over UK and Europe to attend, so we suggest you buy tickets in advance to avoid dissapointment.

For this time, no tix sent by mail. After receiving your Paypal payment at vk74@hotmail.fr, I will send you a flyer numbered and registered at your email address.

There will be eight hours of Prince videos.

Feel free to ask him for your favorite title (especially if you plan to choreograph !)

I just hope people will come from everywhere like last time. We already have 4 belgium peeps, willing to come party with us french freaks !

just to clarify that all tickets are to be sold in advance online, and not available on the door. the general idea is that you order by emailing virginie and pay by paypal, just the same as the last time, but instead of a paper ticket being put in the mail, you will be sent an electronic e-ticket by email, just like you get when you book a plane with easyjet. you will have your own reference number and you can print the email as a ticket if you like. you will also have your name and ticket reference number listed on the "guest" list, so you don't need to print the ticket out

the last party sold out a month in advance, so we expect the same again this time, particularly as less tickets are available this time to give more space for dancing, plus the renewed interest due to the recent european gigs, so if you wish to go please buy your tickets as soon as you can

i've been working on a completely new set of videos to show at the party, plus we have more new music since the last party too. there should also be a few tweaks and improvements based on the comments after the last party

we expect people to travel from all over europe again, a few people from the UK again, and last time i think most european countries had delegates at the party, germany, brussels, switzerland and other places i've never heard off. what was interesting the last time was that pretty much everyone spoke near perfect english apart from myself, so the language barrier shouldn't be a problem at all. i got round paris using only two words of french and a couple of words of spanish that i thought were french. the music i will be playing will be in english however

just over a month to go, tickets are selling well, i expect them all to be gone in advance again like the last time, so i'd suggest buying before the end of the month to avoid missing out

that hotel is literally 60 seconds walk around the corner from the venue. it's a small local hotel, not your holiday inn that looks exactly the same as every other holida inn in the entire world. it has food, shower, tv, phone and free wifi internet. there is usually someone there who speaks english

the venue is down a series of little pedestrian alleys off the main streets, nearby are loads of posh shops of the likes of gucci, prada, fiorucci etc, it's all very nice. the great thing about the hotel i mentioned is that if you stay there you don't need taxis to and from the venue, you can just walk, even in heels. there is also a few bars and places to eat nearby, so you can basically head to the hotel/venue and eat/drink/sleep nearby

the last time people came from all over europe, and it seems the same this time too. i'm hoping to have someone represented from each of the european countries

if anyone has any questions or needs any help, just post here or contact virginie on her facebook page. it's a similar setup to before, same venue, same dj, prince music and videos, the only difference is that instead of mailing tickets, you will be sent an eTicket by email and your name will be on the guest list. price is the same as before, 10 euros, all tickets sold in advance and not available on the door (there were none left last time, sold out a month in advance)
