The Eagerly Awaited Prince Boat Party Details
O.K. ... The next 'BIG ONE' is 'Just Around the Corner!! Bank Holiday Sunday 30th May to be precise. We've a New Boat (well new to The Prince Boat Party anyway) A Change is as Good as a Rest ... well so they say Eh? She's called The Miyuki Maru and we will be boarding at 3.45pm (leaving at 4pm) and returning at 8pm
This time around we will be picking the boat up from Tower Pier.
As always ourD.J's will be playing ONLY the FUNKIEST PRINCE TRAX back2back
ALSO with
THE ONE and ONLY PRINCE TRIBUTE BAND . . .'PURPLE RAIN'
(whom we all know and love, and for those that haven't yet seen them, i promise ... you'll love them too!!)

THE AFTER PARTY
Due to restricted licensing on the original venue i have found us an even better one, when you look at the pictures of the venue it speaks for itself the bar is called The Driver and is located on Wharfdale Rd in Kings Cross which is a direct line from the boat on the Northern line. We have got the 1st & 2nd floors exclusively also access to the roof terrace for anyone that needs a little air (or to smoke!) there will be a stage area for our fantastic band 'PURPLE RAIN'to WOW us all with their Full Mind Blowing Pant Swinging Set, without anyone having to worry about not being able to see or have room to dance their socks off!! With our very own DJ Clinton Oliver thrilling us on the decks and causing pants to swing involuntarily!!!
The party will start at 9pm and go on until 3am . . . YEAY!!!

I went to see Purple Rain, the tribute band in Leicester at The Musician last Friday 26th march...boyoboyoboy!...they were excellent, Had a chat with dave, doug and jimi afterwards thou i can't quite recall the conversation! alcohol grrrr

Going to "the roadhouse" this Saturday (3rd may) to watch them again...so to those around Birmingham, who haven't seen them before pop down and you'll have a funky night for sure.

Which leads me to the boat party...I'm a prince fan gathering virgin..BUT me and me lass are now going, hope to meet a few off you there and have great night.

This sounds awesome.....very tempted to grab myself a ticket, but I've lost touch with alot of my fellow Orgers over the last year.

Is anyone going that was part of the big Org meet up for the last Prince O2 concert in 2007, or went to the Prince birthday boat part in 2008??
