Hello Purple Party People,

We've never done this before but we think it might be nice to have a Prince.org-meet-up in Montreux.

If someone with some experience at this could take it from here, we'd be grateful and will totally be involved !

I am coming all the way from Australia and would love to meet up with fellow fans, otherwise to quote a Prince track, for me 'It's Gonna Be Lonely'.

I am in! Getting very excited!!!! I have waited and saved money for 6 years since seeing Prince in Sydney in 2003, cannot wait!

Like I told u guys before, I've never done anything like this, but I'll just share my thoughts...

One question first though : does anybody know if u're allowed into the Music & Convention Centre without actually going to any concert in one of their halls ?

If so : it would be cool to meet-up right there. But I'd prefer on Friday, since Saturday I'm kind of busy...

Maybe just meeting up there in the late afternoon, then having dinner all together somewhere in the area (I read somewhere there are good and affordable restaurants around the train station) ? If so : I'm pretty sure a reservation might be in order, depending on the amount of Orgers of course...

Like I said : I'm just sharing thoughts here. I'll gladly hand this whole thing over to a more experienced fan !

so happy hour friday at 6.00 the Miles Davis Hall bar sounds good to me too.

Well that was fairly easy

We ought to try and arrange A Saturday midday meet and a 6'o clock meet, what you think

I will try to attend. At the moment I still don't know my exact itinerary, but a friend and I will show up between 18.00 and 20.00.

Cool! So it's at 6pm at the Bar opposite MD Hall. Is anyone else giong to the Jeff Beck gig that night? And if not, then you are definitely missing out, he and his band are amazing, one of the best live shows I have ever seen.

So, do I just look for all the purple people? I will be in my 3121 shirt.

What is Happy hour? does that mean beers are reasonabley priced? if so how much?

I'll be there Sat morning.. if that is any good...

I have a very simple idea, everyone meeting up from the org can roll up their sleeve on their shirt on one side (regardless if you are wearing a short or long sleeve). Easy. Hahaha, the Prince cult.

Anyway, as far as lining up for the show I would guess and say that going there at 3 or 4 pm at the earliest would suffice. What do you guys all think?
