Hi, everyone. Long-time visitor, First-time poster. Glad to be here!

My name is Robert Howard, aka DJ Wonderbread. I'm a video DJ in San Diego - I've been the head DJ at The Tavern at The Beach in PB since 2001. But I'm HAPPY AS HELL that I finally work at a place that's willing to unleash the Prince geek in me.

On May 11th, I'll be hosting a Prince Vs. Michael Jackson night in North Park! I know Org-ers see these events all the time, but here in San Diego, they're kind of a rarity. And I PROMISE you this one will have some videos and remixes and such that NO ONE has ever played anywhere else!!

It will be at TRUE NORTH TAVERN in North Park - 3815 30th Avenue (at 30th & University - the old "Shooterz" location) - from 9pm to closing. Our phone number is (619) 291-3815.

Hopefully, there will be lots of people there so we can do another one next year. I would LOVE for this to become a tradition! So PLEASE pass the word on - I would absolutely appreciate it.


PS: U don't have to wait until May 11th to come by True North for a good time... Hey, everyone. Me again. Looking for a little bit of assistance this time.

Since this is the first time I'm finally getting to do a Prince / MJ night, are there any songs / videos any of you might suggest? What would you request on such a night? I guess most die-hards would want to test me and see how obscure my collection gets, but I don't just want to spend the night playing bootlegs and B-sides.

Besides that, I'm trying to feature videos as much as possible, so any suggestion (from either Prince or Michael) with a video would be preferred.

Should I go new or old? Rare or classic? Probably a mix of everything, I'm guessing. But specific suggestions would be appreciated.

For what it's worth ... my favorite Prince videos are Get Off, Call My Name, When Doves Cry and Kiss.

Getting down 2 the wire now, folks! I'm still slaving away (no pun intended) on more video projects... there's no way I can get them all done in time! Should have about 2 DVDs worth, though. (Sorry, MJ... only about 8 or 9 projects for you, bro! U shoulda made more videos!)
