Just to let you know if you haven't already seen -

We are holding another PRINCE NIGHT in London town.UK on FRIDAY DECEMBER 12th 2008:)

Good news is - it's FREE ENTRY ALL NIGHT, in a central London location with tube & parking nearby & it's on a Friday.

This should be a nice, un-official London Prince fam Xmas meetup.

As before - your Prince requests will be taken on the night & I will do my best - but the best way to guarantee your fave Prince tunes get played is to bring your own CDs and CDRs with your fave Prince tunes on on the night - this will make it more likely I can find the tunes

TIME: 9pm-2am

Please note: other Soul artists' music is also played on the night.

There really is no need for you to NOT hear your fave Prince tunes this Friday - in an unusual step ... & I only do this for PRINCE events as he is such a rare artist with an unusually high track record in making consistantly good music! (& lets face it - most other artists are hit & miss with their music's grade)
- So - for this reason - on this occasion only - the London Prince fanatics can Bring CDs / CDRs of their fave Prince tunes to increase the odds of them getting played on the night - can't say fairer than that! ;0)

Expect to hear 12"'s of KISS, ♥ or$, Housequake & more obscure Princely-ness!

yes - there's a lot of gigs going on at the mo - jazz cafe has just gone - and it was one of the best ever - completely packed.

But this Fri Dec 12th - its back to the cozy front room feel of Hobgoblin N1 - with Prince on the decks

OK so I have "She's Always In My Hair" packed for Ms D, Barbarella - you asked fo a specific track also - cant remember what that was - if you're lurking - please advise asap & I will do my best.

As said before - if you feel a track is essential for your purple Soul experience tonight - please bring it on CD or CDR - cant say fairer than that.

At the mo I am aiming to do these approx every 3 months, sloted this one in just in time for a pre-Xmas date.

Speaking of Xmas - does anyone know any Prince Xmas songs? I know Lonely Xmas - but is there more that has slipped my mind?

For those who are unsure about coming tonight coz its cold, too near christmas or ur going to ur xmas work parties or still recoverying from them, well peeps this is the last Prince party of 2008. It FREE, its fun and its happening! Lets make the most of it.
We've had a great year of parties and gatherings in the London for 2008, lets go out in style and party like its 1999!

Yes there was a few gaps from the Org people we thought might have turned up - but not to worry - a nice prince time was had.

As said, the regs and manager @ Hobgoblin are into Prince as I am very much - yet another reason why Prince is played every week on Fridays

So it was pretty much Prince all night + some related Prince artists like Apollonia 6, Jam & Lewis, Sly Stone etc.

I had yet more material with me this time, played some new stuff like 21 nights.
Thanks also to David who brought a very select CD with him of which I played some tracks as promised. (David - r u on here also - if so - thanks and hi!)

Good to meet Sarah also, not sure if you're on here - if so - Hi!

& there with other new people too - from the varoious KEEP THE FAITH Events mailings we post about the place - good to meet them too - & I look forward to seeing you again soon.

The next Prince Ft. Night from me, KEEP THE FAITH Events @ Hobgoblin N1 will be sometime in March 2009 - will post up an exact date when it's set.

Extra special thanks to Cat Park also - who really drummed up for Friday.
