FYI:

Angel tube is very near - so if you're tubing it - you should be all good if you leave at midnight.

By car - it's very easy & an unusual amount of off street parking near the venue (on single yellow, or single red lines or meters after restrictions end @ 7pm in the area).

& yes of course you've got the night buses - by train Kings Cross is also very near.

I'm really looking forward to this one - the first one was a lot of fun.

WE LOVE PRINCE @ HOBGOBLIN N1 - so Prince music is an on going thing.

& this one is free entry all night & pub drinks prices - so it's not going to break the bank,

If you're in or around London - shouldnt be too much trouble - if you're further afield - come if you're in the area - if not - no worries

either way it's gonna be a beautiful night!!!

Just got back from another great night @ Hobgoblin N1

The place is indeed special - I / we are blessed

Inevitably a whole load of Prince was played once again tonight.

We are all geared up for THIS FRIDAY! OCT 3rd.

In these credit crunch times - every little helps inc. this event being FREE ENTRY all night & right near to Angel Tube & free parking after 7pm near by.

No big thing - no queues, tickets or guest lists required - attending this one is a no-brainer if you're in the area or if you decide last minute to attend on a whim - all good - just come when you're ready & enjoy normal pub drink prices too.


We do featured artists each week on Fridays at the venue & as said - our commitment to Prince on going - Prince played every week!

Feel free to email any Prince requests.

If you have burnt CDs - we can't guarantee to play them - but it will increase the chances of hearing more of your fave Prince tunes on the night

Hi - in answer to your question - no this is a weekly SOUL gig, we play some Prince every week & also feature and artist of note every week - this week (Fri Oct 3rd) Prince is our Featured artist - so there will be a whole load more Prince than usual you can expect large amounts of Prince in a row on this occasion + Prince requests are all good if we have them in our bag ++ due to this being an exceptional artist - feel free to bring your Prince CDs - can't guarentee to play them because we have to gage the party as it happens, but it will increase the odds .

All the info you need inc. music content is / was laid out in the original gig post which I posted up on here (Re: http://prince.org/msg/2/283166 ) - you will find times, map, address, music policy etc. in there.

just want to say BIG THANKS to the London people who showed tonight for the Prince music - it was nice to meet some orgers & fellow London Prince heads.

A nice bunch of people. Thanks also for allowing the random birthday proceedings.
For those who had to leave earlier we later took it to the end with some back to back Prince.
Nice to meet Denee-denee & Barbarella in the real 3D & the other nice people i spoke to - please make yourselves known so i can put a screen name to a 3D face.

Thanks also to Justin for some great rare & alt. take Prince tracks.

Out of the tracks I didnt have with me i will endeavour to have them next time!
Talking of which - i am looking to do these features approx every 3 months if it's something that people want (namely YOU purple Londoners) As seen i do play Prince every week in addition to these special artist features.
Always make yourselves known if you're in the house or passing & i will be sure to play some Prince when you're there.

Please DO support Barbarella's Boat party - it looks like a top night with full live band too - I've just met some of the good people, so I know it will be nice vibes. & Ms B IS going out of her way to put this Prince extravaganza on for the Prince obsessives out there.
