I'm not giving up, so, as a natural consequence to my statement, I keep trying:

Mamma mia....

They must all be here!

There seem to be a couple over on HQ but not too many. One of my friends is half-Italian and I've dragged him to a couple of shows over the years - does he count?

Oh, please...why Zucchero?!?!? lol I mean, maybe because his music style has international flavor?
Say hello to your half-italian friend. By the way, he lives in Ireland, doesn't he?

I saw there was orger lovesexy80, but it's been a while since he showed up.

I should move to another country neutral

My friend grew up and lives here, but he has fluent Italian and is usually in Italy a few times every year, visiting family and watching the nerazzurri play. I've been with him in Milano and Valtellina 5 or 6 times over the years.

Zucchero? He released some music in English, so he's the most famous Italian pop singer here (which isn't saying much). Italy's a beautiful country but the music is a bit lame. I remember, years ago in a friend's house in Trieste, trying to find decent music on the radio. The local stations were so bad, we ended up listening to Slovenian radio!

And as for moving, nowhere's perfect - the music might be better, but the food? The weather?? And the coffee??? sad

Hey girl, I'm not Italian, but I love Italy and visit Milano every few months to watch my favourite calcio team (the Rossoneri, of course!) I have adored Prince for over 20 years now biggrin
Maybe we could meet next time I'm there?

Sure thing! Let me know... and bring plenty of friends in case of another 21 nights residency in Rome!

By the way, the girl in my avatar is not me, it's actress Giovanna Mezzogiorno.
