This was my first and obviously last time going to Prince Night @ Berlin. I had a wonderful time! I really enjoyed some of the remixes that were played like the house versions of Beautiful, Loved and Blessed and Nasty Girl. I also LOVED the remix of Sexy MF. Were these versions ever released for sale? Does anyone know the name of the version of Sexy MF that was played? I know it's not the 12" remix.

Btw - That fight was RIDICULOUS and seemed so out of place at anything Prince related.

Besides that it was a great night and a WONDERFUL way to close a three-night weekend!

That fight between the two gay guys (I wish I was at the bar to hear what was said to kick that off) was the first and last fight at Prince Night. Did you see how we on the dance floor stepped to the side and kept dancing as we watched security pick them off the floor and kick them out. I was right there when the shorter of the two guys fighting yelled, "He started it!" It wasn't a fist throwing fight, just a bear hug holding someone down. Gay men are too pretty to get their faces hit.

I digress. I had a blast, epecially dissecting the last four songs Sam played: 1. Girls and Boys 2. Letitgo 3. Willing and Able and 4. Purple Rain

Sam loves us so much and maybe we can keep in touch, but we need to let Prince Night go, if he's willing and able to move on, we should as well. Purple Rain was played as an homage to acknowledge Prince's highest career point and most famous song that brought the masses from all cultures and countries together for the past 13 years. Of course, the video montage of Please Access A New Experience with images of Prince and a fade to black was the perfect ending.

Yeah, I was right there when the fight broke out because the guys bumped into me as they started pushing and shoving. Then it got ugly and the last thing I saw was the big guy with blood all over the side of his face and a big gash over his brow. They brought him to the front and gave him a rag to try and stop the bleeding. It was crazy! Still, the foolishness couldn't ruin a great night!!!

All I can say is: horatio.

I got to see my girl Stymie...and meet Anxiety.

My first Prince night (and last, I guess). I don't know why, because I've lived relatively close the entire time they've been going on and even had a couple of specific opportunities to go and never did.

Oh well. I'm glad I made it to the last one, even though I'm sad there won't be any more, at least in the previous incarnation.

It was great seeing CarrieMPLS, violett, endorphin74 and Stymie again.

And I'm glad I finally got to meet Anxiety, honeypot, rushing07, RhondaB, horatio, eleven, and apparently DevotedPuppy (!), and several others.
