Well done to you. Have been to that bar before. Its really qiet but nice. Dont know if i can make it though. Friends ok with coming if a party but they may take the piss out of me for a fan meet up. Will see what i can do though. xxx

and studal, you are entitled to holiday pay by law, so request the time off and come, alternatively call a sickie or something. these things don't happen that often so you need to make the effort to attend. i've went to a lot of effort to arrange this so everyone can get together and meet up, so i'm counting on everyone to turn up. you will only be dissapointed if you don't, as you never know what's in store

Hi Unique. I am indeed entitled to holiday days but I am only in my job 3 weeks. I only work sat and sundays as I am in college 3 days and on course work placement 2 days. So me working the 2 days is very important. I am entitled to only 6.5 days as I work only 16 hours a week. Also my mother is coming over from Ireland and I am going back to Ireland for a few days so I need to keep my holiday days. I understand that I could take a 'sickie'. But I wont. I need the money.

Sigh. I hate fucking life.

well, you can come, you can take the time off, and you can even be paid to take the time off... you just need to take 1 day off, and you would still be left with 5.5 days, which is 2.75 weeks paid holiday based on your current hours, thus you can take a week to ireland, and a week off if your mother visits, and still have 3/4 of a weeks holiday entitlement left, which is a day and half, and that's all after taking a days paid holiday to attend this event
