Hello.

I feel duty-bound after years of lurking (and I mean 'years', as in 'since the PPML days') to announce to this august company that although I have been quiet I have amassed an unholy quantity of stank-nasty funk music and I will be playing some of it in London's most extraordinary performance space this Friday the 16th of April.

Those in London might like to come down to Shunt on that day. It's a cavernous space under London Bridge train station. There's going to be a Funk Off, a sort of battle of gruesome vinyl, with a little theatre. Come and dance in a cave. To heavy funk. As in 'Very Heavy Funk Indeed.'

It's a private member's club but you can get in with a day membership. I think we're taking the decks at nine.
