U missed the June 7th Prince night! I guess it's all about the weekender in 2008! U never know, after the success of June 7th @ Navs (London)... another one could be in the pipeline B4 Xmas if demand is shown.... 'dre Tried many flavours - but sooner or later, always go back to the Purple Kool-aid!

'dre yes wnted u onboard too... of course... the listen party was at embankment... there was also a piano there... n this duo were playing n singing prince stuff. is frank around... i'll email him... he should remember, think he n ray organised it.... mind u i'd rather a keen prince fan pianist come down n play... i'm not looking to make any funds....just to arrange a kool party to dance at and have fun a good old prince social... Any1 remeber the good ol Colour Purple Days.... i was young and impressionable, but i thought they were fabulous!!!! Hi any news on London night would love to meet everyone as i think my friends are getting fed up with me bring PRINCE up in conversatio all the time gettin out my camera and showing them all my huhum photos (sorry naughty i know)
Sounds a great idea i don't think i can wait till next year for boat party. | |

Hi Purplenic! We've been having a London Prince Peeps Meet Up every month for five years now. You are more than welcome to join us!
We meet on the second Thursday of every month. The current venue is The Horse and Groom in Gt Portland Street 7pm onwards. Please see the thread that Veej has posted for this months meet which is on Thursday. If you came to the last tour, then I'm sure that you will see many familiar faces at the meet... Enjoy! | |

So what happened to you all last night ? only one other Prince fan from the usual gang turned up !!!! me and my friend (newbie) David and Mike were the only ones there. How very disappointing after telling David what a wonderful group our little meet ups are and its less than a month since the end of the most fantastic 2 months for any Prince fan - have you forgotten all the great nights we all shared already ????? And where were all you newbies ????? Now I know this is sounding like a rant and a half, I do appreciate that we are all broke, tired and have other things in our lives but only 1 regular member ? thats pretty poor. There is soo much to discuss, dissect and reminisce from the past 2 months. So please please better turn out for next months meet up - and if there were any other newbies out there that wanna join - this is not representative of our usual meet ups. thanks - am going to bear that in mimd for the next one i think ..... thanks xxx[/quote] | |
