Manchester Where to go, What to Do and Pre-Party Party? Susannah will be in charge of getting anyone together who is coming on the Friday. Let her know your details and I'm sure she will help you. We are gonna be strapped for time.
Places of interest..... Aflecks Palace on Oldham street just off Piccadilly Bus Station. Aflecks has loads of different things for sale ranging from posters to clothes which you will not be able to get on the high street http://www.afflecks-palace.co.uk/html/index.html Also just past Afflecks you can visit Vinyl Exchange with CD's, Vinyl and more Ask behind the counter downstairs for more products they have for sale http://www.vinylexchange.co.uk/ Then of course you have the shops Check out the new updated Arndale centre, The Triangle or even Selfridges Then you have The Printworks - Drink, eat or just go to the cinema. A great place for a night out. Check out Prince guitar in The Hard Rock Cafe. http://www.theprintworks.com/ Let Susannah know your plans and hopefully she can get everyone together on Friday night. Try and check these out during the day/night if you can. It would be a shame to come all the way to Manchester and miss out! Or you could visit Cols shop http://www.colettehazelwo...ery.co.uk/ Or even freshen up at the Gentry. Lads, you can have a cut throat shave at; http://www.gentrygrooming.com/home.asp Enjoy your Stay! Departure on sunday 19:35 That is right next to my works. You can get the Tram to Manchester from there! About £2. Just check the machine. Not many stops either You should have stayed in the Britania - Much nicer. http://www.myspace.com/savage1999uk

Hi Guys
I work in a bar, not far from the Pitcher & Piano, called Beluga Restaurant & Bar. We're based near the Midland hotel and the Central library (the big round building). I will be working there tonight, and we'll be playing a whole host of Prince tracks (as we often do). If you fancy a warm up for tomorrow night pop down and ill be more than happy to mix you a few drinks. I cant guarantee solid Prince all night, he'll be playing in amongst such good company as Marvin Gaye, David Bowie, Missy Elliot, The Rolling Stones, The Staples, Blondie, James Brown, New Order and many others - but there will be a hefty dose of purple funk cropping up all night. If you can make it, be sure to ask for the Purple Rain cocktail Ill offer up especially for any fellow Prince fans. Nick | |
