Hey all you Prince Night regulars/Chi-town Orgers, as you may or may not know I used to live in Chicago and went to Prince Night at Berlin practically every month. I moved to NYC four years ago and have missed it ever since.

But I am going to be in Chicago later this month and made sure to plan my trip so that it coincides with August 26 (aka Prince Night). I'm so looking forward to going...there's only one problem....I'm 99% sure that none of my friends will go with me, (and really, they can't hang til 2-3am on a Sunday anyway ), so I will be there by my lonesome.

If anyone who is going would be willing to take pity on me so I don't have to hang out by myself all night, I would be so grateful. I'll even buy you a drink or two! (Or maybe I'll bring some Prince pins/buttons I made to share...yes, I'm not above bribing for friends. lol.) Let me know if you'll be there and I can introduce myself....org note and we can plan the meet-up.

It's kind of a weird request, I know, but I really, really want to go to Prince Night and not spend the evening hanging out with no one who might get as excited as me if they play the extended version of Sexy Dancer or something.

Cant wait. Should be a great time. Ive been going now for 2 years. Well bassically since I turned 21 and the place is full of people I consider family. Id love to say hi to ya. Heres a pic so you know who I am and not some crazy Prince freak trying to buy you a drink

Going to try to sneak into the workshop room at work later today and make some Prince-ly pins with the button machine.


(btw, I see it's supposed to be a "white" party, but being a New Yorker for four years, I don't "do" white. I'll be wearing black like any respectable New Yorker must. )
