Hi Guys
I work in a bar, not far from the Pitcher & Piano, called Beluga Restaurant & Bar. We're based near the Midland hotel and the Central library (the big round building). I will be working there tonight, and we'll be playing a whole host of Prince tracks (as we often do). If you fancy a warm up for tomorrow night pop down and ill be more than happy to mix you a few drinks. I cant guarantee solid Prince all night, he'll be playing in amongst such good company as Marvin Gaye, David Bowie, Missy Elliot, The Rolling Stones, The Staples, Blondie, James Brown, New Order and many others - but there will be a hefty dose of purple funk cropping up all night. If you can make it, be sure to ask for the Purple Rain cocktail Ill offer up especially for any fellow Prince fans. Nick | |

It was so spooky as after I proposed the song "Come on" came on the sound system. Kat thought I had planned it but alas I wasn't that clever. Thanks for another great party...what a brill weekend apart from me being ill with flu ..was really fantastic weekend. Brilliant to meet u Red Feathers ,. enjoyed our conversations, speak to u soon.
Mary Sharon and ur man are such a lovely couple, Its nice to see people sooo in Lurve. JD - always a pleasure, Scuzzy,Melloe one,London one, Freedom,Peach,Camille, Scotsman 1999, and the group of boys that certainly gave u a run for yer money lol...what great dancers. Nice to see u again John and Ellie. Thanks to evryone else i was too drunk to remember names but u were all so friendly and funky.. I also want to say lovely to meet ElaineD, I was very impressed by ur dancing and singing. Send me an org note sometime. Special thank u to Savage and Kat for all the effort in making the party a great nite, Also to AliUK for the best after party yet, thanks for having us all at ur flat. Massive thank u to Susannah for everything (u know wot i mean). also to her boyfriend Lucianno (his first prince party! aw!)
