Sony BMG Album Release Event 4 Prince’s “Planet Earth”: Purplelectricity Prince Party 
Hey all U nasty girls, rude boys, true funk soldiers, sexy MFs, and purple hippies! Last year, Purplelectricity hosted the official Universal release party 4 Prince's "3121". This year, we're back at it again with Prince's "Planet Earth" (in stores everywhere on 07-24). This Purplelectricity will feature all the fast trax from his new album, including its lead single "Guitar". DJ doctor BAGGIE spinning hiNRG purple grooves and rare projections. Door prizes 2 win including copies of Prince's new album "Planet Earth". Try the special glam slam martinis and cocktails at the bar, inspired by and named after Prince's songs, some were even served at Prince's Glam Slam nightclubs. Purplelectricity is Canada's only recurring Prince tribute party. This will be its 14th installment. The party features music and videos that span Prince's entire career right from 1978 until the present. Today's the day! I picked up the door prize bags from Sony BMG last night and they contain the new CD and a simple but mega-cool T-shirt. The tee is a purple American Apparel shirt with a large  on the front with "Prince Planet Earth" on the back (in the official fonts 4 Planet Earth), the ink colour is a light mauve. These will be highly coveted unless they're merch that will be 4 sale on the tour.
Door prizes at 1 a.m. We also have official Planet Earth promo posters that we'll give out after 2 a.m. (so they don't get crushed by all the wild dancing).
