Anyone Interested in a "meetup" in Edinburgh, Scottland?

Anyone interested in a meetup of sorts in Edinburgh Scottland?
I'm not really looking for any official high profile meetup or anything.

More like travelling partners. I've been told that I "MUST" visit Edinburgh and take one of the "ghost" tours in the lower layers of the city from the Black Plague times...

Anyways, everyone I've talked to who's been there says it's the coolest city on earth, so now I've got an itch to visit.

It would be for a good year out as I'm going to Thailand in early next year, but I'm hoping to have enough vacation time leftover to visit end of 2008-ish.

Are you serious??

I'm interested! There have been quite a number of successful meetups in Edinburgh, and quite a few orgers whos's prescence can be relied on! I'm sure if you're organising Dan, loads more will come, especially if it's not for a year!

Yes, I'm serious.

I am going to try to make it to England each year to visit my sister and family. And use that as the launching pad to some other place.

Next year, I'd like it to be Edinburgh.

The following, Amsterdamn/Holland so I can invade PeNoR and Lars.

Oh, I don't mind the cold to "visit".

Actually, being in the cold brings back some great memories--it's like hearing that special song that brings you back, or smelling something and it reminding you of yo momma's cookin' and stuff.

But Edinburgh , other than one account I got from a dear respected orger, is so hyped by everyone I talk to that I want to give it a try.

I would need to English orgers to help me out in knowing where to go, etc. but I can also research it. Either way I'll be in England to visit my family, so I figured why not take the 4/5 hour train ride there?

Let me backtrack the statement a bit.

If I can schedule it during a warmer month, I sure as hell will.

I'll avoid the cold whenever possible--It's just that if it ends up being cold, I can tough it out and still have a good time. lol

You do realize you're asking the scots to plan out over a year in advance, right?
