I was going through Greenwich a couple of days ago but i was in a car and couldnt stop cuz i was going to a funeral  but anyway from what i saw there wasnt that much there just shops etc, this was around Trafalgar road area.The dome seemed really far away from it.
Didnt get the chance to go near the the station. Greenwich is a large area! When i get some days off work next i will have a look around see if there's any wetherspoons or lloyds bars around and also try out that pub near the station to see how friendly it is. FUNKNROLL! i've put the word out 2 find a suitable venue near the o2 (by asking londonners who don't like prints but know the area) i wonder if there is a suitable bar in any of the docklands hotels? like holiday inn, customs house or travelodge as that could b a good place, and it might b easy 2 park there, and ppl can maybe arrange 2 share cars/taxis/etc 4 the inevitable mad dash 2 the aftershow venue, as knowing prints the aftershow has 2 b on the other side of london (just like rushing from st paul back 2 chanhassen 2 get there 2 c the prints b4 midnite strikes). having the aftershows in the o2 smaller venue would b 2 obvious and simple is any1 going 2 c the strolling bones play between 21-26 august btw? I am going 1st Sept VIP (but not the boat) and am on my own so would love to meet up with anyone going too !!! will probably be wearing the same gold/silver bling dress I wore to Vegas (if anyone who is going saw me there) | |
