Glad you guys had fun. Sorry I missed it.

To be honest, I would have been worried if you had. lol I mean it's a really, really out there 3 hour David Lynch movie and if you're not into that kind of thing, you might hate me afterwards. boxed Or at least, you'd find out what a weirdo I am. boxed

But as it stands, I had a blast! (Sosgemini was a bit zzz though)

I like Lynch. Blue Velvet is one of my all time favorite movies, period. I would have been right there with you.

I'm sorry I couldn't come to this.

I did spend a fun evening cleaning the house, though, in preparation for my sister & niece coming over on Saturday. We had to remove the toxic waste, exposed live wires, and used needles.

Keep me posted if you guys want to get together again though, I'd really like that. And thanks for inviting me!

Ya know, I was thinking Lynch does have his influences. The moving into alternative subconscious realities comes from Ingmar Bergman, though Lynch goes about 7 layers deeper. And the chorus of prostitutes is extremely Fellinesque a la 8-1/2 or World of Women.

I was thinking of this because I saw an interview where he cited his influences to be Bergman, Fellini and Kubrick.

I guess Kubrick appears in the violence (as in A Clockwork Orange)...

hmmm
