Here's the Anx review and I quote:

'inland empire' is WAY amazing. once i'm able to watch it a few more times, i can see it being my favorite DL movie, easily. it's like an encyclopedia of everything he's ever done in one movie, plus more. i loved it.

I never saw Lost Highway. That was during my stage of disgruntledness with Lynch. But after Mulholland Drive, I'm a CONVERT! And this is supposed to be a kind of continuation of that mode...plus other things I've heard make me think I'll like it...

Not so much. You can take bart to civic center, then walk to Van Ness and take a bus (49 or 42 to California - any bus going north on Van Ness).

I'm driving though from East Bay, would you like a ride? But I won't be coming back as I'm housesitting in SF over the weekend. (Could drop you off at Bart after the movie)

To be honest, I would have been worried if you had. I mean it's a really, really out there 3 hour David Lynch movie and if you're not into that kind of thing, you might hate me afterwards. Or at least, you'd find out what a weirdo I am.
