ok... well, I've had the most amazing week of my life bar none. in 7 days I've met Meg and Shelly () seen Niagara Falls, met Ivy, seen Chris again, seen Chicago () driven through Colorado and the Rockies then through the desert and seen an Arizona Sunrise. finally I got to amazing Las Vegas (I LOVE it there!) and was honoured to finally meet PK, finess, Supa, Butterfli and luv4u. to top it all off I was front row center at 3121 with the fine people mentioned and SHOOK HIS HAND!! I'm telling you BEST WEEK EVER.. ... E.V.E.R.

now... after a long journey I'm finally in San Francisco going to see Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge after I'm finished here :mgreen:

OK, word of warning to all who might ever vacation with me.....make sure you let me know what the plans are and force your number on me! I realized as I was leaving for the airport to go to Vegas.....WAIT! I don't have anybody's phone number! I can be the biggest organizational nightmare if you let me and thank god for an actual destination Friday night because that is where Nat found me Second, make sure you know I am awake when making plans and giving instructions

Sunday morning after I got out of the shower, I realized I had no idea other than dropping the keys in the box downstairs what I was supposed to do Thankfully my waiting around in the lobby actually paid off because Ness, PK and Tisse found me I am in such a haze in the first half hour after waking that you might see me agreeing to shit and then I have no idea I even made plans Eating, showering and soda usually help me to cope with the morning

Began the weekend by watching the planes fly overhead by the airport:



Got to Vegas and floated around till Natisse found me. Then we took a trek and we walked over to the Rio from the New York Casino! Thankfully Natisse is a fast walker because I got some long ass legs. She totally kept up with me Word of warning....., catch your taxi at the hotel because there is no chance in hell waving one down on the street Believe me, we tried!. We were basically forced to walk all the way to the Rio

Nat and I hang out for a bit, finally Butta pops out of 3121, gives me a big ass hug and then runs back in to secure her spot Ness and Luv show up and we hung out at The Tilted Kilt for drinks. We hung and chatted for about an hour and a half and I think it is unanimous that they were playing the most fantastic music!

Later we met back up with Butta after her Prince show. On the way out, I got hooked up with a guy who just came from the Chippendale show This guy put the moves on hardcore, but I played coy and shy. Just like my natural personality. I'm so bashful Checked my email and yup, got a message from him. He'll be in LA next week.

The next day we took Nat and Bev around to see some sights. We started out at Caesar's palace:





Seriously, these pictures don't even come close to showing the amazingness of the sculptures and statues in there. Later we watched this show there the statues come to life, complete with fire and flood If you have a chance, check out this show, it's pretty cool.

Then we were off to the Wax Museum and what a day it was!

What a day! Later it was off to see Prince at 3121 OK, I saw the show during the opening weekend in November and quite frankly I was not impressed It was an awful show. So much so that I wasn't even interested in going this weekend but PK had an extra ticket and so I figured I might as well just go ahead and grab it from her and go to the show. THANK GOD I DID!. This show was slammin He played the hell out of his guitar And his new singer Shelby is the freakin damn bomb! People seemed to be having issues with her outfit but I thought she looked fierce

Oh, this is the very coolest part about the show So we are standing there and Butta was lurking around. At one point we kind of lost track of her and nobody knew where she was. Well she came up to us after a while and was telling us Come on guys, come with me!. We all looked at each other like ....um, we're going to lose our place in line! and everyone kind of hesitated and Butta was like Get your asses over here! come on! Turns out that Butta was lurking around and her damn laser eyes fixated on the guards and she walked up to find out if she could ask them a question. The guy said she could ask and she said, "what are you guys doing?" ....Oh, we are sending angels to the back of the line to pull people out to the front. He then asked her how many in her party and she told him and that was when she came and got us from the back of the line and we ended up being front row at the show! THANK YOU BUTTA! Natisse and Luv both got the front row treatment for the very first time

After the show, we hung out for a bit then crawled back to the hotel for some rest The next morning I was out like a light. Thank you everyone for not forcing me to be part of the crowd until I was ready Thanks to you, I had no panic issues over the weekend When I had my rotting appendix, I developed panic issues. I would have major and horrifying panic attacks. Now I only have them when I am extremely tired or when I'm sick. This is why I really need to get rest. Otherwise you guys would have had to scrape me off the floor and played nurse

PK - Girl, you hooked me up! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! What would my broke ass have done without you? I totally wasn't going to go to the Prince concert but thanks to you, I went and what a time it was It's funny cuz I look back at the Family Jam pre-gathering those years ago and I really didn't know you that well back then. Now I do! I wish I could take away them pesky ass headaches you get but you are a trooper. Thanks for hanging in there and Thank you for everything you did for all of us. Your generosity is so appreciated. You goddamned rock!



Ness - Dude, you are hilarious I love hanging with you Like I said at the bar on Friday, it's one thing to talk about music and it's another to talk music. I love how knowledgable you are and you know what? You are right, you deserve mod rights to the music forum! Do you need me to ruff some people up? Like your wife, your generosity is just amazing. Thank you for everything you did for us and thank you for being a friend. You have such a good heart and I'm proud to call you my friend. You still got to get me the list of the CDs I gave you so I can give you the rest of the mixes. And you know you can always test out all your mixes on me. I loves me some Ness mixes! There hasn't been one that I haven't loved

Butta!!!! - OK, we have had a friendship for a little while now. sharing mostly in orgnotes and I knew you were an amazing woman but WOW! I don't know if you noticed but I was smiling often in your presence and it was because how amazed I was at the person you are. We didn't have the time really to get into the mushy feeling kind of conversations but we have had them plenty in orgnotes. You are such a gifted woman You see things people don't hear and you hear things people don't see. That is your gift and coupled with your approach to life, will make such a successful counselor You are at the same time both practical but insightful. You are willing to give of yourself, but you're not going to take any shit either. What wonderful combinations! As you know, I want to pursue counseling in my life and you are an inspiration to me. Thank you for living your passion, it encourages me to live mine

It was a joy to finally meet you and to discover how funny you really are in real life. I think most think you're very serious and it was great to see that you can cut some shit up with the best of em. You had me rollin all weekend long! Oh! Alun, at the bus station we were saying goodbye to Natisse and I told her I had 2 hugs for her. I swooped down on her and gave her a really big hug. That was the first hug.
