It was ok. I LOVED seeing everyone and it was easier to hang out than at the MJ vs Prince party (way too crowded). In contrast, there were not a lot of folks at this party. My biggest issue was with the DJ. Train wrecking all over. Playing very pedestrian hits like 1999. You have a HARD CORE audience, a little more variety would have been nice. Something new would have been nice...ok we got Musicology and Black Sweat. My biggest complaint was replaying some songs when he thought he had a bigger/newer crowd (which still had the same folks there from the beginning). By the 3rd repeat I left. I'm sorry with a catalog a big as Prince's a DJ should notrepeat anything in the 4 hrs music is being played. because a kiss on the lips is better than a knife in the back | |
