Has anyone gone to the VIP room/Prince nights at First Ave in Mpls?
I just saw a flier about it and wondering if it's any good.
The flier mentioned the first Friday of every month(only Feb, March and April--I think).

They are quite fun, if only sparsely attended. Don't expect a packed house, but expect to dance all night long. I haven't been in months myself, but I always have a good time when I go. Lenka is the best Prince-playing DJ I've ever had the pleasure of dancing to, and I've danced around (the world even) a LOT.

So bring a friend (or 5!) and make a night of it.

Where exactly is the VIP room in First Ave? I was just there on Friday night and don't know where that room is. I see there is a concert going on in the main room during the next Prince night (March 2nd). Do you just go in through the main doors?

The entrance for the VIP is on First Avenue (as opposed to 7th Street), down at the other end of the building from the main doors. If you're already in the club (for other stuff) it's upstairs, just past the women's bathrooms.
