For those of you looking for a cool place on the cheap, check out the Clay hotel. This is on Espanola way, which will be one of the nooks we will be checking out during the Invasion. PS. All the hotels on the recommended site are in South Beach and take no more th 10 to 15 minutes at a casual pace on foot to reach each other (or less).

You have to buy a hotel room late in January at the latest though becuase the average room goes from 120 a night to 300 or 400 a night (if you can find a room).

I found a room at the Henry which should have cost 80 bucks a night, and i had to pay 180 for it--a roach hotel. Just because I booked it a week before the conference.

As for the weather, it's beautiful year round except July through Sept (the dog days of summer)
