The Boni Boyer Scholarship Foundation presents the movie "Purple
Rain"....

Therein January 2007, The Boni Boyer Scholarship Foundation (BBSF)
will screen The movie Purple Rain to honor the deceased Boni Boyer,
and for fund-raising efforts.She was a member of Prince's band who
hailed from Oakland, CA .

Boyer was a musical prodigy who played seven instruments,and
garnished two platinum and three gold records for her efforts.Former
bandmates were Con Funk Shun, Lionel Ritchie, Sheila E, and Tupac, to
name a few. Thereof the Prince years, she appeared in several concert
and feature films.

The BBSF'S purpose is to furnish grants to accredited
specialized schools for students with learning differences.By
establishing financial aid at college preparatory schools, they will
receive a quality education and will not fall through the cracks of
the system and the doors to the institution of higher learning will
be open.

This was so damn fun. Nothing like a bunch of crazy Prince fans saying the lines and singing along to the movie. After the show I got to meet Boni's mom, Mrs. Boyer. She is such a beautiful and sweet person. I took a picture with her and as soon as I figure out what is going on with my camera I will post it.
