Thank you to everyone that came out to the 4 year anniversary of our Prince vs Michael event. This was our 19th party since we began in November of 2002 and this one was no disappontment. Thank you to DJ T-Rock who guest dj'ed during our happy hour. I guess we got carried away and over-promoted this event because 5 minutes before 10pm the head of security told us the venue was just about at capacity and that they might have to close the doors. That got sorted and in the end everything worked out. I believe everyone that wanted to get in got in even though there might of been a little wait at the door to enter the party. Once again thank you to the staff at Madrone Lounge for being so helpful and professional... y'all Got the Look. Mark your calendars for our Prince Happy Hour on December 16th from 6-10pm. Then we'll see everyone in 2007 for round #20 of Prince vs Michael!

As an extra bonus for all the early birds we are presenting a special happy hour from 6-9pm. "The 80's vs the 90's" with our special guest DJ T-Rock from Los Angeles (1200 Hobos). Free admission and drink specials including $2 well drinks! Then at 9pm we will be launching into the Prince vs Michael event.

Prince is opening his 3121 club in Vegas and Michael Jackson is set to perform THRILLER at the World Music Awards!

Looking forward to seeing everyone at Madrone Lounge this Saturday night!

Prince and associated artists go toe-to-toe on the dance floor against Michael and the Jackson family - this is the ultimate dance party! DJ's Dave Paul and Jeff Harris mix album cuts, remixes, rare tracks and classics from their extensive record collections to battle it out on the turntables. This face-off always promises to be a dance marathon - "Black Sweat" takes a swing at "PYT (Pretty Young Thing)," only to be pounded by "Wanna Be Starting Somethin," which had better watch it's back when "Kiss" comes around.

This event was conceived four years by Bomb Hip-Hop who have successfully produced 18 of these parties in San Francisco as well as Seattle, Portland and Bend. Featuring music from Prince, Michael, The Time, The Jackson 5, Sheila E., Janet Jackson, Vanity 6 and many more. Rare concert footage and music videos on the large video screen all night long.
