Org Minnevasion Flight Delay Depreciation Thread WTF is up with all the flight delays?!?!? EVERY SINGLE PERSON I KNOW who went to the invasion this weekend had some kind of cracktacular flight delay issue! And here my ass is at the airport waiting to hear how long MY flight is delayed because our plane broke down! 
Hopefully I will be home soon enough to put this drama behind me quickly, but in the meantime, feel free to share your Invasion travel misadventures here. Meanwhile, is anyone who was scheduled to fly out yesterday STILL at the MPLS airport? Orgnote me! Let's hang out!  | |

damn your still there?!  yesterday me and ivy missed ours but we got one two hours later. alas we didnt' get home til midnight. i had a paper to finish up(why o why do i do this to myself  ) so i didn't go to bed until 3a.m. then i got up at 630am to get the boys ready for their ride to school and then i had a class at 9a.m. MADNESS! lucky i'm at home now, all homework is done. hope you get home soon so you can relax! a  | |

i just think the whole trend of all airlines having flight delays on all flights all the time is kinda creepy and scary. i had a friend visit me from new york last weekend and his incoming flight was delayed five hours. i've never been afraid of flying, but i've also had really good flight karma over the years and never had to even HEAR about so many delays going on all the time. and it's not even like the weather is so insane. what's up!? did erin ever make it home? i'm gonna go look for her at the magazine kiosk. | |

ickyness abounds. getting home at 2 am sucked for an 8 am call time to work. i decided (again) that budget airlines are not worth the $100 saved. anyhoo... of course i was totally wired after the flight and didn't get to sleep until close to 3.

Not me...
I even got an extra blessing. On the second leg of my return flight, I got stuck with a middle seat (BOO!!!) However, the aisle person never showed up. Had the only row in the plane with only 2 people (Yeeeeaaaaah!!!!) Isn't that great?

Anx, how long did you end up being delayed? My dumb ass forgot my cellphone charger, so I wasn't able to contact anyone. Would have been funny if we all had to continue the invasion camped out at the airport!

Was I the only one who ended up spending the night at MSP? i was stupidly looking around the airport for you, expecting you to come crawling out from behind a kiosk somewhere like a character in a mad max movie.
i wasn't delayed very long - about an hour or so - but we had to taxi forever before taking off, then we were stuck in a holding pattern over chicago, then when we landed we had to taxi some more. it was sucktrocious. | |
