hey everyone i took some late nite pics of the area in case anyone thinks they are going 2 a party in a beirut type situation. These pics (although dark) paint a very nice picture of our lovely city (weeps).

the hotel is the brunswick in the merchant city, its literally round the corner from the venue and features a very trendy bar and club downstairs which plays some great music - this weekend they have a miles davis/jimi hendrix tribute night!

In terms of proximity to all the best shopping streets, the St Enoch Centre, Princes Sq, Merchant Sq, George Sq, Buchanan St and the Italian Centre you cant beat it! Its also only a short walk from both major train stations.

Rooms start at £55, a double room with ensuite is £65 although the website states you can get a further discount of £10 on every room throughout february as part of their winter promotion, i suggest you phone them up to book the room to get the best deal.

I havent yet informed them that it is a Prince Party nite, although they are aware a large group of people will be booking rooms that night. The website is www.brunswickhotel.co.uk

ps i havent taken any pictures of the usual tourist haunts like the science museum and the glasgow tower or the armadillo and i really should have taken one of the kelvingrove art galleries (since its the biggest tourist attraction in the UK) but i felt this was outside the merchant city area and therefore irrelevant, if however, u wish some more pics ill gladly take some.

I really want a picture of the Purple Bridge as this is clearly a symbolic piece of architecture in line with our theme...more on that soon!

yeah i didnt include them on the list as there is no word from either of them. They must have quit the prince love.

Also the list only really includes attendees from the org, i havent included any other ticket sales.

I have to stress that tickets are limited due to fire/health and safety etc, so once we reach our suite limit we cant sell anymore.

its not too bad, ill need to check how much they are chargin at our bar, but i think they are pretty decent prices, we might be givin out free drinks at the start, thats not finalised yet. We will also have prince cocktails which i think will b priced £4.50 or £10 for a jug!
