Too bad the AF base in Iceland has been closed, otherwise it might be more feasible for me to make it!  And yes, judging by everything I've heard, Iceland IS beautiful (but expensive)! The flight is right around $850.00 to 950.00 for this one. I would be flying for 16 hours and for 7 days (before hotel) I just don't think I could justify this one..... ( It is way more affordable from the midwest... ) | |

No, It is already being booked by a few... but I think I am better to go to Europe/UK .... I can't see making Iceland into a 14 day and can't justify it otherwise... I have to keep in mind that I have Thailand at the end of next year... | |

are you sure? did you go to icelandair.com and check the travel specials? I did but it doesnt look like they fly from So Cali.... checking again... I'll call them... | |

I found out that my school prohibits taking final exams early, so, those dates won't work for me.
