Monday, May 29, 2006 – Having worked relentlessly using his extensive knowledge of the Minnesota music scene, Chase - a Minneapolis based musician, has hand-picked the most talented musicians that Minneapolis has to offer. This outstanding group of musicians that now forms the music group Ovation includes: *Chase, Bob Johnston, Vicki Black, Ace Mack, Vincent Lebaron, and Stein Malvey.

The music featured in the 1984 film “Purple Rain” employed some of the most technically advanced and innovative sounds of the 80’s. Take a moment now to imagine what an additional 20 years of technical progression can do to this already captivating event.

The Ovation performance celebrating the music of “Purple Rain” is not to be mistaken with a tribute band that relies on gimmicks (i.e., costumes and wigs). The celebration of the music is paramount and its sonic authenticity will be brought to the next level of entertainment with the first note played. In addition to this already mind-blowing event, considering the relationships Chase has formed with members of The Revolution, you never know what surprises may come the night of August 5, 2006.
