As promised I have done some research and found a venue with excellent accommodation available above, in a great location in Manchester. I'm gonna work hard on this now and will have a date for the 1st week in September so don't go booking any holidays.

What would help now is to get an idea of how many people would be interested? I want to fill this venue and would appreciate all your support.

This will be along the lines of the Dawn Experience parties that have taken place in London, which I have had the pleasure of being chosen to take over. Thanks Mike!

Ok, so I know I shook my groove thing with more people than this at the last party. So where are all the die hard Prince fans who love to party. Come show you love and enthusiasm for the party of the year on this thread.

I will be there if it isnt on my daughter birthday of the 5th, If all seems quiet savage Id suggest asking the HMV to loan u a pocket in the a-z to promote awareness. they will know what this means. to u it means a space where the cd sits and u can pop the cards there to advertise it, im sure they would be obliging,
Also what about a website, so when u do a search it is 1 of the first that pops up, so if I were looking for a Prince party, urs would be the site that attracted me..just a thought

Come on guys, I know you all want another party, and many expressed an interest in a party in Manchester, but we can't make this a goer unless we know we will get the people there. Thankyou and much love to the people who have posted responses already, your positive support has not gone unnoticed.

I can confirm the party will be a weekend, most probably the first weekend in Sept, and I can also confirm the venue is right near a train station, and has a hotel directly above which we will be able to use. But we can't spend money on this thing until we have a few more peeps responding.

Paul will be at the London Invasion promoting this party, making more people aware, but we still need to see your support threads.

seems to be a renewed in interest in prince from a lot of non fans as i like to snobishly call them...this could be good for the party.trevor nelson and chris moyles seem to be big fans....i'm not taking the piss when i say maybe one of us could call up radio one nearer the time of the party and invite them!!!worth a try
