Prince and associated artists go toe-to-toe on the dance floor against Michael and the Jackson family during this ultimate dance party! This face-off always promises to be a dance marathon - "Kiss" takes a swing at "PYT (Pretty Young Thing)," only to be pounded by "Wanna Be Starting Somethin," which had better watch it's back when "Black Sweat" comes around.

Venue has a video projector. We'll be showing Prince music videos and concert footage all night long

This event was conceived four years by Bomb Hip-Hop who have successfully produced many of these parties in San Francisco as well as Seattle, Portland and Bend. "As a concept for a DJ battle, Prince vs. Michael is brilliant," writes SF Weekly's Hiya Swanhuyser. Deejays Dave Paul and Jeff Harris mix album cuts, remixes, rare tracks and classics from their extensive record collections to battle it out on the turntables. Featuring music from Prince, Michael, The Time, The Jackson 5, Sheila E., Janet Jackson, Vanity 6 and many more. Who will win, The Purple One or the King of Pop? Who cares... this is the perfect night out to lounge with your friends, make some new friends, get your drink on and dance your @ss off.

Sorry, no after-party. But the party will go til 2am

i just moved to the bay area and i'm excited to finally get to go to these parties. i was in the process of moving when it came to seattle in march! it'll be nice to meet some folks.

Tomorrow night is the night! Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Party starts at 9pm and goes til 2am. Music videos and concert footage (including the 1981 Dirty Mind club tour at the Ritz in NY) on the video screen all night long. DJ's dave Paul and Jeff Harris spinning vinyl all night long.
