i have to say, i was terribly terribly nervous about it, i actually have a bad habit of being nervous around new people. granted, many of you i have played, joked, talked and whatnot on the org before, but meeting you in person was a very new thing.

bob made a good point, which is true, that had he not stayed with me and been on my ass about it, i probably would have wussed out, as i get really really shy at first. friday night i was shaking like a leaf before i came in, i get so riled up. it's weird, because i am totally comfortable on stage in front of hundreds of strangers, but when i have to be myself and just chill, i freeze up.

so thank you all so much for making it so inviting and warm and comfortable.

superspaceboy - special thanks especially to you for not letting me freak out and back out. you are right, we will never be the same around each other after having bonded so much. you are an angel.

purplecam - it might have been your birthday, but it felt like it was mine… you seem like a gift that will just keep on giving

natisse - OH MY LORD, you are ADORABLE! i sooooo want a natisse doll to dress up and sleep with at night. so glad you enjoyed the city in such great amount, and it was such a great experience meeting with you!

what a fun group - sorry i wasn't able to make more of the get-togethers, but i enjoyed the ones i showed up for, and i hope none of you hold it against me that i dragged you all to a heavy metal night at a beauty salon-themed nightclub...though the opportunity to get a manicure while getting drunk to motorhead is something you don't get every day, mind ya.

and for the record, cborgman is a complete angel. once i am able to successfully wash his stench out of my clothes, i will have surprisingly fond memories that i'm sure my therapist will help me sort out with a minimum of post-traumatic stress. he puts the OK in "skanky"! yay! i would love to!! i just want to say that i had an absolute blast and couldn't stop laughing the entire time. that's the way an invasion should be done. (it helps when you don't lose your credit card and spend all night worrying about money and stuff) and natisse, girl you're awesome!!

Man this has been the best weekend I've had here since I came back to NYC in December. I've wanted to meet orgers but I never had the chance except those who used to come here. And with everyone here during my birthday on Sunday, it just made it that much more special. All those that came, I'm so glad that we met and we MUST keep in touch. I hope to meet with even more orgers in the near future!
