i called to check out some prices.... just to see if this was even something we could do...


the hotel told me that as many as 6 people could stay in a room... there are 2 queen beds, and a fold out.... 6 seems like a lot to me, but if you could pull it off, that means your hotel fee would be 30 dollars at the most each night.... thats not to bad, is it ? dont forget, includes your 2 hours of free drinks, and your cooked to order breakfast


WORLDS OF FUN... group rates that include an all you can eat BBQ lunch comes to 29.95 each... thats not so bad, considering the normal cost to get into WOF is somewhere between 35 and 40 bucks each

i called this place about a hayride.. its a neat lil place, actually, my sister got married there... we had the whole family stay there for the weekend (i checked the price on that and that is waaaaay expensive, like, upwards of 1200 a night ) however, for the hayride, a bonfire they build for us, picnic tables, all the food for our group already out there for us, oh, and you CAN have beer with you.... comes to about 400 dollars and lasts 2-4 hours. even if we only had 20 people with us.... thats only 20 dollars... thats not too bad.

anyway, im just kickin ideas around, cuz, like i said, im bored as hell, and its either this, or UNPACK somemore boxes

this would be so awesome! we should try to get orgers from all over and give everyone a true taste of the midwest!! i LOVE the hayrack ride and bonfire!! seems like most org meetups have been clubbing and city activities. this would definitely be something different!

I can't come in the spring

It's dance season (no wabbit season)... my girls have competition or receital each weekend...then my sister and her husband are coming for a visit..

Then I'm going to Prince's house.

And on top of all of that, I'm still in school and I'll be writing my thesis.

Kansas City to Minneapolis is a very easy drive so you should try to make the Minneapolis one someday.


436 miles and around 7 1/2 hours according to google maps which is always conservative on time.
