Yes...the temperature/weather has become, in the UK at least, an issue which may lead to a violent uprising as pensioners and teenagers join forces to express their revulsion at the quality of our weather forecasts.
Now, I'm in Belfast, where, in Novemeber, we were promised a very cold Decemeber, possibly the coldest for a decade. As it turned out the temperature in December was never below 9 degress and there were only three non-sunny days. Now take today.. Yesterday, the weather fuhrers told us it would be a measly three degrees. Meanwhile, I'm poncing around town wothout my coat and the temp is actually 11 degrees. How can I possible plan my fashion-life? Should I wear an Arran sweater (yes, yes, I know these were outlawed as part of the Irish Peace Process but...) or go Lovesexy? I wish this was America so I could go and open a bank account and get a free shotgun. It's time to take back the streets!

PREDOMINANT said: So why the new thread? Lets beef this puppy up a little, due to Lolly’s current busy schedule I said I would help out a little so I ask you all please for suggestions for events and stuff to do. If you do not assist Uncle Predom will be taking you round the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Tate Modern. Although I am quite excited by the recent 24 hour drinking laws that might need to be thoroughly tested!!
Also let me know your feelings on costs. London is not a cheap city and many attractions and clubs are over 10 quid. Let me know what you would like to do either by org note or here and I will start to draft up an itinerary. For starters - draft suggestion and layout. Caesar and Pompey (c. 1605) George Chapman Sun 26 Feb 3pm In this savage tragedy a drunkard and a whoremaster provide some comic albeit grim relief between the rack and the behaeading place. 'Divers times publiquely acted with great applause', the play questions true and false religion in a Roman setting but is also a thinly veiled critique of James Ist's foreign policy. Dorothea refuses to bow down to Jupiter. She frustrates torturers and freezes desire. Her martyrdom leads even her chief persecutor to turn to God. This is on at the globe on the sunday...not shakespere but might be fun

Sadly, I've noted that there seems to be a predominant preference for alcohol abuse during the Invasions. This is rather disappointing, not only because of the recent UK media concerns over binge-drinking but also because I'd just ordered 3 kilos of heroin online from a dealer in Edinburgh.
It should be delivered to the hotel so if I'm not there could someone sign it in for me PS-Do you think this will be enough?
