Hi folks,

Some of us Scots are trying to organise something for the Edinburgh leg of the Invasion, do you guys have any preferences?

IF we can organise it, which is uncertain as yet, were assuming you guys would like to have a mini Prince Party, basically Prince music and dancing in a bar. Anyone who's been to the previous Edinburgh meetups will know the kinda thing Im talkin about! Would that be good?

So if we have 2 nights here would you want to do that for one, or would you rather just go out generally for both nights? Completely up to you lot! We were thinking a night out around the town for the second night, but then, Im sure that isnt some peoples cup of tea, so...?

Also, does anyone have any pre-conceived ideas about what they would like to do during the day in Edinburgh? Just so we can try to vaguely plan something...otherwise youll get the tourist trap as masterminded by a select few!!

Opinions appreciated in here or orgnotes

scotland is supposed to be friday, saturday and sunday until mid afternoon i believe.

Kudos to our fellow orger Bal, who has booked an area of a bar in Edinburgh, named "the World" for the Saturday night of the Invasion! So we can perhaps meet for an early dinner, then gather here and spend the evening listening to some choice Prince, drinking, dancing and go on somewhere else if the tide takes us. Anyone who was present at the previous Edinburgh meet-ups, also organised by Bal and held in The World will Im sure tell you this is set to be a great night!

Friday night activities, for those who will already be here, remain unplanned. I will post some more ideas for this and during the day soon, and input from visitors and locals is appreciated! Although a last minute sightseeing tour and pub crawl will also work fine!

EDIT - obviously Ill post more details nearer the time, ie address, location etc!
