Props to the organisers (especially for the quiz....thank you Lynn!!) and for the helium balloons in particular  cammille, daf and myself had lots of fun with those.

Wow…. What can I add that hasn’t already been said….
Out of all the parties I’ve helped to organise since I started this these events 5 years ago… the one on Saturday night for me topped the lot. A big THANK YOU to everyone who have helped to make all of these parties very special… from my fellow organisers to you the partygoers…..thank you. Some of you may already know that this will be my last party as an organiser…. After 5 years I’ve decided to stand down, “retire” and get my life back. My aim for these parties was simply just to try and make a lot of peeps happy by coming together not only to hear pure Prince (and associates) music in a club-like atmosphere, but also for like-minded peeps to be given a chance to socialise and make new friends… and to be able to include a lot of different elements into the mix (like different floors of musical types to suite different tastes, chilled-out jazzy areas, merchandising, videos, live music...ect.) much of which I think we have achieved to some degree. Just because this is my last party, it does not necessarily mean that this should be the end of the parties period… Hopefully I’ve set an example for others to follow and improve upon… These parties could and should continue in the hands of whoever decides to seriously take on the challenge, grab the ball and keep these events running. I will still be around to offer some advice if needed. Paul Savage is planning an event in Manchester and everyone should give him all the help, support and encouragement that he needs… Good Luck Paul!!! Well Im back to boring reality of Uni now, but what a fantastic weekend that was!! I had the time of my life dancing, singing, playing air guitar and meeting all the wonderful people I met.
Zaara - couldnt have gone without you babe. Remember everything we said!
Tisse - You are so fab!!! What a wonderful woman. I hope we can be friends for a long time to come 
Dave the head - lol, dancing with you made the weekend, especially Computer Blue! But my dress was flowery, not zebra!
But I dont ever wanna see that ridiculous outfit of yours again! 
Scotsman1999 - you knocked us all out of the ring on the dancefloor! I love my new record, but I hope you can educate me some more on that Melvoin/Coleman front! Onenitealone and the Nameless Wonder (lol) - Sunday was a lovely, lovely day, I will definitely be down eventually! And you guys have to come up! J - I dont beleive you either by the way! 
All the people I spent Saturday afternoon with - im not sure of your names -doh- but you know who you are! 
DJs and organisers - job well done! Was great to meet all the other people I met - Blackbob, Predominant and lovely wife, Cammille, and countless more I was too drunk to remember! sorry! I hope we can all get together again soon!

It's been almost 2 years since I was freakily allocated a seat next to you and Mike on a plane journey to the Family Jamm. It gave me the opportunity to get to know you, and it's only after getting to know that I fully understand how much hard work it is for you to put these parties together. It takes so much out of you but you still put them on for 5 years. I am so grateful that you've done this and thank you from the bottom of my heart. Friday and Saturday were the best experience at Prince parties I've ever had. They were amazing nights. If you're retiring now Ray, you're retiring on a high. Saturday night was astounding! Have a good rest, man. You deserve it. I hope you can make some of the London Meet-Ups. Would be good to talk with you. I'm sure Mike will (he'd better!). Thanks to Ray, Mike, Lynn and everyone else who made the weekender possible. Best of luck to whoever takes over. Will be a tough act to follow. | |

 agree, wish we had more parties. The high was on after the two nights was amazing. still haven't come down.2 whole nights of dancing solidly to Prince, the best exercise a girl could ever get. Can't wait for the next one in Manchester next year. Which personally guarantee will provide everyone with a chance to shake their groove thing all night long. And if you don't ... you will have me to answer too!!!!!
