First of all, mad props to Mick ,Ray, Len and the whole team who spent the last 9 months making all of this possible for the 5th year running. I think I can say that your efforts have definitely been appreciated!

LeFreak and Unique, either going back to back in the same room, or clashing in different rooms, y'all rocked, therefore U are! Thanks to LeFreak for lettin' me spin a good 45 minute set on the Saturday night - enjoy the sampler man!

Great to see some familiar faces (and quite a few new ones too!), Cocochanel, looking as great as ever, MarySharon simply being MarySharon, looking phenomenal on both nights... U still got a lot 2 learn about impressing a guy tho' (redemption is mine!) .
Congratulations to Savage who won one of the comps (can't remember which even tho' I presented it!)... ain't it funny that your partner won the next night... all good!
LadyMissKat, always a pleasure to see U, U were looking great on both nights, still have to check out Hot chip!
DrGoldChoke, I can only try to be as cool as U man, the man is a laugh and a half and your prescence at both nights was no exception!

Sweet 'tisse, for those who have not met this amazing woman - make time! Probably one of the most special people in my life (and yours too when U meet her!) - and she was gettin' wild and struttin' her stuff too - go girl!

Overall, a pretty amazing 2 nights of prince related fun and frolics for avid and passive fans alike. There was a special surprise acoustic band on the Saturday on the Ground floor who were great too (Thanks for lettin' me sit in "Starfish & Coffee"!).

Finally To Ray (freedom), thankufalettinmebemyselfagain! It was a great honour to be there, and if U decide to pass the gauntlet on, make sure it's someone worthy of your achievements (savage :lurking:) - rest well my friend.

Thanks for posting the pics so quickly Natisse, it was lovely to meet you and everyone else..(who are nameless at the moment but I'll be giving props 'n' pounds later!).
I'll also post some of my own choice images later, as well as some proper purple prose, but I think I'm entitled to more than five hours of sleep for the first time in three nights, don't you? Oh..well I don't care what any of you say then, and you can't stop me!!

Just a note to say what an absolutely amazing time had this weekend. didn't stop dancing either of the two nights. The atmosphere, the people and the music was amazing.

Unique thanks for playing Batman and Dream Factory Friday Night, and We Can Funk and New Power Generation Saturday Night, and also thankyou for playing Peach again on Saturday night so could shake my thang to it in my hot pants.

Le Freak thanks for the Rave Un2 the Joy mix it was cool.

And Dre the set you did was brilliant: We Can Funk, Housequake, Come On and many more I can't remember; all worthy of grooving to. can honestly say had two of the best nights of my life this weekend, and won Best Dancer which just made it even more special. Thanks to all the guys who organise these parties you hard work and dedication is much appreciated, and hopefully we can finally return the favour with a Manchester party.

To all the funky people danced with you were all amazing. Mary Sharon, you can be my dance partner again anytime. From talking to lots of people who went know that a good time was had by all and second that. look forward to seeing the pictures as they get posted.

What a GREAT weekend, I still have a smile on my face! I didn't do too badly on the quiz either, which I feel is QUITE an achievement! Thanks to Lynn and co for arranging.. To everyone who organised or was involved with the party - a very BIG Thank You! Dre, the djs, door staff, everyone - you did a great job. Even down to as much as sorting out the Citadenes and things like that. Thank you.

I had a fantastic time, the music was great (well, it would be wouldn't it ), everyone was friendly and, from what I saw, we all had a ball. I can't wait for next year! To those I didn't meet, the pleasure will be all your's next time.

Now the honourable mentions:

predominant - it was great to meet you and your beautiful wife. I hope you both enjoyed yourselves. Good luck in the next few weeks!

drgoldchoke - you may not remember our drunken chat but I only wish it had been longer. You're a very funny guy. Hopefully we'll get to meet again soon.

Scotsman1999 - Sunday was an unplanned but, best of all, an unexpected pleasure. I'm glad you managed to make your flight! :phew: It was nice to meet you and I look forward to catching up with you soon.

Susannah & Zaara - I shouldn't be lazy and address you both together - ! - but thank you for a wonderful time yesterday. It was a definite highlight of the weekend. I was gutted to be leaving! You're both wonderful and it was an absolute pleasure. Don't forget about Cardiff!

And as for Natisse - what can I say? Not much. (Just kidding!!! : ) For those who haven't met this wonderful person, you're missing out. She is everything I thought she'd be and loads more. Warm, funny, kind, considerate... I could go on. Once in a blue moon someone comes into your life and you just know you've made a special friend. I feel completely honoured to say that. Big kiss to you, Natisse. No-one headbanged quite like you.

And to those I've forgotten or missed out, big apologies. You were all part of the experience.

the usual suspects were there, of course, jd, savage, mellowone,cammille ( who danced my ass off the first night!) shy retiring DAVEHEAD!!!, andy, zaara, metalorange, predominant and his lovely wife,unique(of course)and everybody who works hard to organise these things, we do appeciate all your hard work. i am sorry if i missed anybody out...im still hungover...hope to c u all next year

Great to see everyone again plus to meet some new faces. Plus the girl who literally fell at my feet on the Saturday! he he! Well done to the Dawn Experience, all those involved bar staff and the guys from Salford. Why no performance ever at the infamous Pav?!
