I'm really going to try to join the Saturday festivities...so long as no emergencies or unavoidable commitments pop up.
Sounds like a blast! By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

Ex-Moderator | oh, throw me on the maybe list. If my trip to Australia pans out, I don't think this'll work, but if not it would behoove me to try and be there. [Edited 9/20/05 6:51am] |

Is that a good price? God no!!! I got mine for 150 a night. That's 4 star price there sag....go to expedia, travelocity, etc. etc. and find something more reasonable. Where in NY are you looking to stay? No need to stay in the expensive parts.

There's a Marriot hotel in Brooklyn, right near the beginning of the Brooklyn Bridge. I've had friends stay there and they liked it. I did a quick search and you can get a room for 239 dollars a night. If you share with someone (sag, maybe you and Llee?), that would be pretty reasonable.
It's not in a glamorous area, but it's not far from any subways that would take you to midtown or wherever. Plus I'm within walking distance! That would be cool!

Stay close to the trains, and it doesn't really matter where you stay. You want something clean and in a decent area.
