Friday 24th
Lunch somewhere and then either a Hudson Cruise or the Saten Island Ferry
that evening go for dinner somewhere then to the Pyramid Club

Saturday 25th
Anxy's wrecka stow tour of Greenwich Village woot!
Azucar Cuban Restaurant for dinner and a dance that night

Sunday 26th
Sunday Brunch at The Blue Note Jazz Cafe...“East Meets West” features collaborations between American and Japanese jazz artists, based both in the U.S. and Japan. The series is based on “East Comes West,” a Monday night series the Blue Note held fifteen years ago, which introduced Japanese musicians to the New York jazz scene. Due to its success, the Blue Note decided expand the concept, by adding American and U.S.-based Japanese artists, and making it a Sunday brunch. Show times are every Sunday at 12:30PM & 2:30PM. Brunch is served from 11:30AM-4:00PM. $19.50 includes, brunch, the show and a drink.

I'm really going to try to join the Saturday festivities...so long as no emergencies or unavoidable commitments pop up.

Sounds like a blast!

oh, throw me on the maybe list. If my trip to Australia pans out, I don't think this'll work, but if not it would behoove me to try and be there.

God no!!! I got mine for 150 a night. That's 4 star price there sag....go to expedia, travelocity, etc. etc. and find something more reasonable. Where in NY are you looking to stay? No need to stay in the expensive parts.

There's a Marriot hotel in Brooklyn, right near the beginning of the Brooklyn Bridge. I've had friends stay there and they liked it. I did a quick search and you can get a room for 239 dollars a night. If you share with someone (sag, maybe you and Llee?), that would be pretty reasonable.

It's not in a glamorous area, but it's not far from any subways that would take you to midtown or wherever.

Plus I'm within walking distance! That would be cool! razz

yeah, that was my whole thinking. Stay close to the trains, and it doesn't really matter where you stay. You want something clean and in a decent area.
