Anybody interested in meeting up in Belgium at some point during the Gentfeesten, a 10-day nonstop party in Gent? I'm heading to Belgium for a bit later in the summer and thought it'd be cool to hang with/meet up with any of you who might be attending.

I've been for the past two years, and it's one hell of a party. If I'm not mistaken, it's the biggest festival in Europe, and people from all over Europe make their way to Gent to party and take part in the festivities. There's something for everybody who appreciates the arts, be it visual, performing, etc., and there's great music. Blue Note Records is sponsoring one of the many festivals; I think I'll definitely check that out.

Once I hear from more people (and have some sense of how many will be coming), I'll start thinking about where and when we can meet.

If I'm here (and I think I will) I'm certainly interested. I live in Ghent, after all.

The Gentse Feesten are great, so try to think about it, foreigners.
