I was out celebrating the birthday of some famous Jehovahs Witness last nigt, & I couldnt help but wonder... was I alone, or was I in the presence of greatness?
Who was there?
It was a brilliant night, the music was extremely great.
Now my head hurts, and like a Jehovahs Witness, I too am drinking cold still Evian.
I met a girl, a very beautiful girl... and I wonder... was she an orger. I think her name was Yana, but the music was loud. She went up on stage @ one point and sang. It was cool. She danced all night. I like her. I spoke to her at the end of the evening, invited her to the Prince Party in October, she said she would definately be there.
Are you her?
Any info, please let me know.

Salaam.

The Prince Tribute nite at JC was good.... it wasn't sold out but a fair sized crowd (around 200-250 peeps) did turn up...not bad considering it was a tuesday nite...!

The band of session players was good (particularly the drummer) and they played most of the hits from 'I feel 4 u' to 'Musicology'... Noel Mckoy sang and hosted, Don-E, Nate James ... Watch out for a lady called Z-Star who stole the show with an excellent version of 'If I was ur girlfriend', Mica Paris (rumored to turn up) didn't show but Omar turned up at the end..they all sung with the aid of lyric sheets so some of the performances were a bit karaoke. But overall it was a very enjoyable nite.

Peace!
