i just want 2 thank every1 involved in putting this 2gether, and every1 4 turning up

finally another success scottish prince nite after a few years. the nite was a complete success, the venue was busy b4 the party even started, all the way thru the end, we got more ppl in than we even xpected

i think what we should do is perhaps arrange another mini-meetup in edinburgh in the next few weeks so the edinburgh folks can get 2gether again and socialise rather than party, and we can discuss future plans 4 parties and events, including arranging a trip down 2 the london weekender at the end of october

perhaps we should take the most obvious choice and meetup in the same venue as u all now know where is it. if every1 is up 4 it then perhaps we can make a monthly or bi-monthly prince meet, similar 2 what they do in london

if every1 keeps checking the org fan gathering forum on a daily/weekly basis and keeps in touch by orgnote, etc, u can find out whats going on

i hope those who came on thier own managed 2 get 2 know a few other ppl

perhaps we could arrange 2 meetup 4 a drink sometime either next weekend or the weekend after. is any1 interested in doing this 2 follow up from the party?

Well eye dont know bout y'all but that party was Rave Un2 the Fam Fuckin Tastic, wot a nice bunch of folk and im glad that so many made the effort to come from far afield.

Did everyone get home ok, that fingers bar was shite.

Music was great, everybody was dancing at some point and the venue was nice. Im impressed i managed to stay sober unlike some others drunks lol.

yeah she was fine, she has a sick period all the time, thankfully, darren took her back to the hotel safely. i cant wait for the next meet up, which i think should b more regular, its great to mingle with fellow fans and hear the music up full wack. unique u were great, glad u played lots of 1994-1997 stuff.

great to meet everyone last night. i came on my own and was chatting within minutes of arriving.
with regards to more meet ups i'm well up for that. in fact, if anyone is around next weekend my band (www.thelastgreatwilderness.co.uk) is playing at Cabaret Voltaire on sat night. if anyone wants to come i'll happily put them on the guest list. i'll even do up some Prince CD's for in between the bands.
jeez, it's almost 7 in the evening and i'm still slightly hungover.

Steve (the owner) said a big thank you and told me that if I wanted to stage another Prince night, I could use his venue again.

A big thank you to Unique for his excellent djing and for helping me organise it. The turnout was excellent, and the singing.....well, what can I say?!

Looking forward to seeing the photos.
