Prince and associated artists go toe-to-toe on the dance floor against Michael and the Jackson family. Let's ignore the criminal allegations against Jackson (hate the man, not the music), especially since Prince has been bathed in enthusiastic praise of late. Instead, let's talk about the music, since it wouldn't be much of a contest if it were for the "Nicest Guy." This face-off promises to be a dance marathon - "Musicology" takes a swing at "PYT (Pretty Young Thing)," only to be pounded by "Wanna Be Starting Somethin," which had better watch it's back when "Kiss" comes around.

This event was conceived three years by Bomb Hip-Hop who have successfully produced 6 of these parties in San Francisco and 1 in Bend (Oregon). "As a concept for a DJ battle, Prince vs. Michael is brilliant," writes SF Weekly's Hiya Swanhuyser. DJ's Jeff Harris and Dave Paul will spin album cuts, remixes, rare tracks and classics from their extensive record collections to battle it out on the turntables. This dance party event features music from Prince, Michael, The Time, The Jackson 5, Sheila E., Janet Jackson, Vanity 6 and many more. Who will win, The Purple One or the King of Pop? Who cares... this is the perfect night to enjoy the summer weather, lounge with your friends, make some new friends, get your drink on and dance your @ss off. Party starts early at 9pm so even if you have to work the next day you have no excuse why you can't come early and leave early... or stay late and get wild
