i had a look at the previous edinburgh meetup threads and found the following info which might b handy 4 ppl wanting 2 book a room. as it's bank holiday weekend i strongly suggest booking a place now. remember u can always cancel 24/48 hours in advance and not get charged, so u can always just book a place, and then change ure mind if u find something else u prefer

the abbotsford is where abbie stayed the last time, i think it was £25 a nite, no ensuite bathroom tho, and they only take cash, but it's a nice enuff place, and fraoch was where ian (ex org moderator) stayed, i think £35 a nite.

i've posted threads on HQ and NPGMC but there doesn't seem 2 b the same interest. perhaps some of u can lookout these posts and note interest 2 try and persuade others from those sites 2 go, so they don't think that no1 is going

the thread at NPGMC keeps getting bumped off the front page cuz so many ppl post crap in thier forums. i'm sure there will b ppl who go there who would go if they knew it was happening, as there r a fair few folks on that site who don't even know about the org

plus edinburgh is actually a nice city 2 visit, we don't have whitecastle, but we got edinburgh castle, which has it's very own starbucks.

plus we got a big fucking boat the queen used 2 ride about it and we got harvey nicols dahling and kentucky fried chicken
