I hope you are all getting excited, the big day is drawing near.
I will be at the party, and possibly at Bar Napoli beforehand. Those of you that want to grab a bite to eat in the afternoon can join us there. You can just drop in, there is no need to book.

A few people have been asking if they can turn up earlier than 7pm. The bar will be open and we are aiming to have everything set up in the afternoon. So if you want to come along early, that will be fine.

whatever happens i'll b at "the world" 2 kick off the music and videos at 7pm sharp at the very latest, but more than likely i'll b there early. as the venue is open during the afternoon until closing, u can turn up early and hangout. i imagine it will get busy from early on, so get there sharp 2 get the best seats

What a difference a day makes.....

I'm afraid, just like last time, I'm going to have to pull out again
I was really looking forward to finally getting to meet Muirdo, Funkybrotha, Unique, etc, etc.

My nephew has Leukemia and has finally been given his date for the bone marrow transplant on Monday - so I am heading down to Woking this weekend to see him before he goes for the operation.
Sorry folks - but I'll be looking forward to the pics, and will be at the next meet no matter what.

For those of you staying at The Roxburghe, the hotel does have parking facilities. However, these are on a first come first served basis and there are very few to go around. An alternative is the NCP car park on Castle Terrace which is the other side of Princes Street - 24 hour parking costs £11.50 but the hotel will give you a 20% discount.
After 6.30pm on Saturday, street parking is free in the city centre until Monday morning. It might be a good idea then, to move your car to George Street or Charlotte Square at around this time and leave it there until you go home the next day.

If anyone wants to come back to my flat afterwards for lots of alcohol and some rare Prince DVD/Video/Download action you're all more than welcome.

It's safe to leave your car on George Street or Charlotte Square, I've done it a few times. Right outside the hotel would be ideal. St James' Centre parking is probably the cheapest in town but a bit of a walk from the hotel.

If anybody needs any help with directions to these car parks, send an orgnote to me or unique.

There are 3 guys coming that post on NPGUK. I don't know if they also have an org presence, and may even already be on the list, but I suspect not - a Finnish person I gather lives in Edinburgh, someone from Glasgow, and somebody I don't know where from.

Perhaps it will get so busy we will need bouncers on the door and you have to answer a question only a Prince fan would know to get in.
