woo, im excited, i got one other person coming, sounds like a lot of people will show up, will this b the biggest meet-up yet?

i'll b there early, at 7pm, but will be in edinburgh all day lookin for people wearing purple and some symbols.

Regardless of who can and cannot make it, this is will be a great night and it will not be the last. Unique and I have put a lot of time and effort into this along with the help of katt and people like zaara who have helped spread the word. So get your glad rags on, splash on some Brut and show your support. If anybody has not yet confirmed, please do so as soon as you can as it will help with planning the layout of the venue. If you only decide at the last minute to come along you are more than welcome but we may need to make some more room, unless you want unique djing from inside the bogs. Might not be a bad thing actually.

i reckon the flyers will have done their job and intice a few more people who wouldn't normally have known anything about the night.

I am going to be in Edinburgh for around 10 am so that i can dump my gear at the hotel then the rest of my day is my own,so that i can go check out some sites grab lunch have a few beers and maybe even get a couple of hours sleep before we party.

well i will be there around 9ish and i will be along with one friend john (unique knows him) and i may bring another pal as well...just need to see how it goes..... but i will be there and after a few sherries, i will be doing this and then this

can you tell me if there is any parking near the hotel as i am thinking about just driving up.
another thing are you able to drive in the city centre at the weekends i thought i had heard that they have stopped that now.

There are tons of guest houses and b+bs, however, not to put you off, but I found that a lot were booked out even 2 weeks ago, I guess Edinburgh is popular on a bank holiday weekend. And finding single rooms was especially tricky, they tend to cater more for couples I guess. Not knowing the place, I wanted to be in the centre and had to pay out a lot more than I would ideally have liked, but you may have more luck on places slightly further out.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I have tried umpteen places, but they're either fully booked or waaaay outta my affordability range. The place i stayed at last time, Balquhidder would have been perfect, but they're no longer operating as a guest house.grrrr,,,,
I'll keep trying though....fingers crossed!

The time is drawing closer folks, i'll defo be there this time. Last time something important came up.....Why is every1 trying to book hotels and stuff?!....just do what me and my friend are doing.....staying awake till the first train in the morning!
