we r finally starting 2 get a bit of interest at housequake now, a couple of folks r saying they r coming, one of which remarking that he didn't think there were so many scottish prince fans

maybe u guys can show him by posting something there, and perhaps persuading more from HQ to join us?

I have some questions. Is this a private party? i mean will anyone off the street be able just to walk in? or is it for US prince fans only? whats to stop the local NEDS from gatecrashing? coz they could just pretend. what is the capacity of this venue? regarding the last question. I mean maybe it will become to busy and we wont get in. will it be prince music playing all night?

all of the aforementioned things have been considered, i've done a number of prince nites b4 and i used 2 manage a nightclub in edinburgh, so i know all the things 2 b aware of and how 2 deal with them

the reason it's open 2 anybody is 2 keep the venue owner happy that he isn't loosing out on casual business in the event we don't get the expected numbers. neds just aren't going 2 hang about listening 2 prince or causing trouble, they have better things 2 do on a saturday nite like hang about the waverley market drinking buckfast.

most fans i imagine will turn up early as there will b a group turning up 4 the 7pm kick off, so u don't need 2 turn up late cuz ure own ure own. besides u will know half of us anyways. if ppl turn up early they can get aquainted whilst its not so busy. if it got OTT busy, then common sense would dictate 2 close the doors and not allow anymore ppl in until enuff ppl left, but it's not going 2 come 2 that. 7pm is an earlyish start 4 a saturday nite uptown in edinburgh, things doing get 2 busy uptown till about 9pmish
