here is an alternate flyer design. u could shrink 3 or 4 flyers on a page with word or publisher or any graphics package

i suggest shrinking the poster designs so u get the 4 different styles on a page and print on2 white paper then photocopy on2 different coloured paper

zaraa knows some1 who is bringing along 14 ppl, with a few more possibles, and she has another couple of friends coming and met a few ppl last nite who said they r going, so the numbers r adding up

there will b a few ppl there who either ain't very big fans, new 2 prince, or not fans at all, so ppl who don't like prince that much won't b the only 1's there. the music will b fairly varied and i'm used 2 surprising ppl that don't really like prince as the selected music will both cater 4 hardcore fans, casual fans and non fans alike. with the related artists stuff thrown in, it won't seem so "princey" 2 non fans, with the time, sheila e, vanity, etc mixed in

You can't lose tables and chairs, there's no storage space for them. We could move them around to make more room though. There aren't that many anyway, so there will be plenty of standing room or space to dance.
If you're passing the venue, go in and have a look. It'll probably look a lot different from when I took you and zaara in there, especially without any alcohol this time!
There may be a buffet available on the night, nothing special, just a little something to help soak up the alcohol and keep you all drinking.
It's looking good. Should be a very good turn out.

if any1 can get any posters put up in colleges or universitys it would b a big help and get word around

other things that can help r if ppl have email lists of folks that would potentially b interested, just email them the details or flyer

i reckon advertising 2 the student market will bring us the most ppl apart from advertising online in specific prince websites, as students go out so often and r always looking 4 something different 2 do, and as many students arent originally from the local area, it can also make them aware of the local goings on, and they r likely 2 bring a few other students with them

hmm i dont know anyone at uni in edinburgh so couldnt help u there, but i think if someone local just goes to the uni's there and sticks em up, we'd b guaranteed good numbers. Ill put some up in strathcldye and caley uni's, and i can also get some mates to put some up in the colleges.
