awww muirdo feelon left out of manchester?well if ure organising a scottish meet up good luck to you,half of them dont bother to turn up and the few who do turn up hours late. but as always faithful old me will do my best to be there with a few friends.any excuse for a shopping trip!need another new handbag anyway.

theres going 2 b another scottish meetup soon. we r just arranging a venue where we can play prince music. it's going 2 b in edinburgh as thats the best place 2 have it. most of the folks at the glasgow meetup werent even from glasgow

if we can get a decent show at the next meetup, we will b looking at making it a regular do, kinda like the london folks, but if the next meetup isn't a success, then it will affect the chances of doing more scottish meetings in the near future

im sure we can have a much better night than the last manchester meetup, so let's show em

at least this time we will have a venue 2 ourselves, plus we will b able 2 play prince music all nite, all in an easy 2 get 2 city centre edinburgh venue, nearby cheapish accomodation. oh, and we got a big fucking castle 2!

asides from the normal bar stuff, what else would folks like 2 c at the prince meetup?

peanuts, sandwiches, balloons, pirate memory games?

i think that weekend is a bank holiday weekend, if so folks needing accomodation should book as soon as a date is confirmed

bed n breakfast places r available in macdonald road and pilrig street from as low as £25, but mostly around the £50 mark, £60 for 2 ppl www.yell.co.uk is the easiest place 2 find cheap accomodation. i will post some suggestions when things r confirmed, but if u want 2 check previous edinburgh meetup threads i've posted bnb phone numbers and prices etc

the date is actually saturday 28th may, which according to my calendar is a bank holiday weekend, with monday 30th being the bank holiday

i'm sure this date will b fine with zaara, and it's the date i mentioned 2 the other girl who is bringing her friends, so it seems like the date is fine for the majority

the date isnt yet 100% confirmed until we have the booking from the venue. we will start a new thread once all the plans have been confirmed.

u should mention this on the housequake site too and maybe npgmc. i'll b there ofcourse!and i'll be bringing one or two of my beautiful friends with me.

we r looking 4 every1s support 4 this event, because if we can make it a success then we can hold more events on a more regular basis. if this party is successful and busy, then ppl will come back again, but if its not busy it'll b hard 2 persuade ppl 2 return, particularly the more casual fanatic

after this event, if successful, it's likely the next event will b a listening session 4 the new cd, with pre and post celly meets also planned
